Team Selection Rules
Understanding team selection rules is crucial for building a winning fantasy cricket team. Follow these guidelines to create your perfect lineup.
Basic Requirements
- You must select exactly 11 players for your fantasy team
- You have a budget of 100 credits to build your team
- You can select a maximum of 7 players from any single team
- Each player has a credit value based on their recent performance and popularity
Player Type Requirements
Your team must include players from the following categories:
- Wicket-Keepers (WK): Minimum 1, Maximum 4
- Batsmen (BAT): Minimum 3, Maximum 6
- All-Rounders (AR): Minimum 1, Maximum 4
- Bowlers (BOWL): Minimum 3, Maximum 6
Captain & Vice-Captain Selection
- You must select one player as Captain who will earn 2x points
- You must select one player as Vice-Captain who will earn 1.5x points
- Choose these roles wisely as they significantly impact your total score
- If the captain doesn't play, the vice-captain becomes the captain automatically
Detailed Scoring System
Points are awarded based on actual player performance in live cricket matches. Here's the complete breakdown:
Batting Points
- Run Scored: 1 point per run
- Boundary Bonus (4s): 1 additional point
- Six Bonus (6s): 2 additional points
- Half-Century (50 runs): 8 bonus points
- Century (100 runs): 16 bonus points
- 150 runs: 24 bonus points
- 200 runs: 32 bonus points
- Dismissal for Duck: -2 points (Batsmen, Wicket-Keepers, All-Rounders only)
Bowling Points
- Wicket (excluding run-out): 25 points
- Bonus (LBW/Bowled): 8 additional points
- 3 Wicket Bonus: 4 additional points
- 4 Wicket Bonus: 8 additional points
- 5 Wicket Bonus: 16 additional points
- Maiden Over: 12 points
Fielding Points
- Catch Taken: 8 points
- 3 Catches Bonus: 4 additional points
- Stumping: 12 points
- Run Out (Direct Hit): 12 points
- Run Out (Thrower/Catcher): 6 points each
Strike Rate Points (Minimum 10 balls faced)
- Below 50 runs per 100 balls: -6 points
- Between 50-59.99 runs per 100 balls: -4 points
- Between 60-70 runs per 100 balls: -2 points
- Between 130-150 runs per 100 balls: +2 points
- Between 150.01-170 runs per 100 balls: +4 points
- Above 170 runs per 100 balls: +6 points
Economy Rate Points (Minimum 2 overs bowled)
- Below 5 runs per over: +6 points
- Between 5-5.99 runs per over: +4 points
- Between 6-7 runs per over: +2 points
- Between 10-11 runs per over: -2 points
- Between 11.01-12 runs per over: -4 points
- Above 12 runs per over: -6 points
Contest Rules
Joining Contests
- All contests on Play Tribe Fun are 100% free to join
- You can join multiple contests with the same team
- You can create multiple teams for the same match
- Teams must be finalized before the match deadline (usually match start time)
- Once the match starts, teams cannot be edited
Contest Types
- Head-to-Head: Compete against one other player
- Small Leagues: Compete with 5-20 players
- Mega Contests: Compete with hundreds or thousands of players
- Private Contests: Create your own contest and invite friends
- Practice Contests: Perfect for learning without pressure
Winning & Rankings
- Rankings are determined by total fantasy points scored by your team
- Captain points are multiplied by 2x
- Vice-Captain points are multiplied by 1.5x
- In case of a tie, the team created first ranks higher
- Live leaderboards are updated in real-time during matches
Match Cancellation & Substitutions
If a Match is Cancelled
- If a match is cancelled or abandoned, all contests for that match are cancelled
- If a match is rescheduled, contests may be rescheduled or cancelled based on the situation
- Official announcements will be made on the platform regarding cancelled matches
Player Substitutions
- If a player in your team is substituted in the actual match, they will still earn points for their performance
- Substitute players (12th man, etc.) who don't play will score 0 points
- Impact players and super-subs are treated according to official match rules
Playing XI Announcements
- We recommend waiting for official playing XI announcements before finalizing your team
- Players not in the playing XI will score 0 points
- You can edit your team until the match deadline

- Consequences: Violation of fair play rules may result in account suspension or permanent ban
